Finished 3rd - Finished 5th Grade
July 21st – July 25th
Spend the week outside and in the museum getting hands-on experience with the world of science.
Not only will we be studying science but we will be looking at how technology, engineering and math are all interconnected and help us have a better understanding of nature.
Learn how drones are used to help wildlife researchers, design and race solar powered rovers and observe mathematical concepts like geometry, symmetry and fractals out on our trails!
This camp is ideal for creative, inquisitive minds that enjoy being outdoors and creating experiments.
Please make sure to read our camp guide. The guide has all the information you need including registrations, cancellations and what your child should bring to camp.
June 29th- July 3rd K-2 & 3-5 Sessions
Start your summer out right by taking a walk on the wild side! This camp will embrace all that is wild at Tanglewood, from the tops of the trees to deep in the dirt and everything in between! Discover how our ecosystems work and all that inhabits them. Campers will dissect owl pellets, use binoculars to look for birds, capture bugs and identify them, inspect a fallen log, and much more! Each day is a new theme and campers enjoy live animals, crafts, games, hikes and exploration.
