Drop-in program: Animal Motion!

  • 28 Aug 2018
  • 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

This week: ANIMAL MOTION! Why are snakes some of the most efficient movers? How fast can a rabbit run? Examine x-rays of different animals to see how they're put together and try out some flexible motions of your own with nature yoga!

Looking for some fun over the summer? Stop by for a drop-in program with naturalist and educator Jamie! Each week she'll focus on a new nature or science topic. You'll meet a new animal or two, plus go on a nature walk and try a hands-on activity too! Each session is one hour long. Dress for the weather and expect to be outside for the program!

This program is designed for elementary school children, and parents/guardians are required to stay with the kids for the duration of the program.

$7 per family non-members, $5 per family for members of Tanglewood. Pay at the door (cash preferred).
