Aviation Birds and Flight
Starts at 2:30pm

Led by Ian McLaughlin and Ian Martin. Start off the program by designing your own paper plane, including shape, colors, etc. Then you will have a flying contest outside in the elements. Afterwards we will all look at the designs and we will try to figure out what worked and what didn't, and why. Finally, you will be taking a look at how birds fly, where they go over winter, why some don't leave, and you will get to see some of our resident raptors up close!

Nature Center and Museum hours: OPEN Tuesday-Friday, 9am-4pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm. CLOSED Sunday-Monday. Trails are open dawn to dusk year-round.
