Reptiles and Amphibians Animal Show

  • 10 Mar 2018
  • 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
We're starting to dream of warm days, when the frogs start migrating and peeping at the top of their lungs, when the snakes start slithering out to bask on sunny rocks... Naturalist Ian will present an hour-long animal show featuring reptiles and amphibians that live at Tanglewood, both native and non-native species. (You'll be glad to know that we certainly do not have giant boas running rampant in New York.) Learn a lot about our local frogs and toads, hear their spring calls, see the similarities and differences between land and water turtles, and slide your hand along the smooth dry scales of a friendly snake.

Free. (Donations appreciated, since those critters have to eat!) No registration needed. All ages welcome.
