Filter water, build a fire, practice finding your way out of the woods and learn to build a shelter among other survival skills. You'll cook your own lunch during this workshop! This workshop is designed for adults (18 years old or more).


Register here or call to reserve your spot. $5 per person.  Registration is limited to 24 adults. 


If children want to practice kid-safe survival skills, send them to our Survival Camp - that will be a whole week of supervised survival and playing in the woods! 3rd-5th graders wilderness camp is July 18th-22nd, and the kindergartners-2nd graders will be building forts July 22nd-29th - see our camp page for more information.

Nature Center and Museum hours: OPEN Tuesday-Friday, 9am-4pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm. CLOSED Sunday-Monday. Trails are open dawn to dusk year-round.
