Guided Hike - Orange & Green Trail

  • 07 Nov 2020
  • 10:00 AM

Join us for a guided hike this fall!

Hikes depart from the trail kiosk at 10am.

This week, Maggie will lead a hike around our Green and Orange Trails. This hike is a little over 2.5 miles long, with around 200' of elevation change, though it is gradual. The wooded section of trail is rugged, with many roots and rocks, and sections may be muddy if there has been recent rain. Much of this hike will be on mown trails through meadows, without shade.

Because our trails are narrow, please wear masks while hiking, to ensure everyone's safety.

Hiking boots or sturdy sneakers are recommended.  Water bottles are strongly recommended. Hats, sunscreen, and insect repellent are strongly recommended.

Expect to walk at a comfortable adult pace. Families are welcome - older children may be more comfortable walking this distance, little legs may find it challenging.

This hike is weather dependent. In inclement weather (heavy rain, thunder/lightning) it will be canceled.
